Horseback Riding in

Description
We climb from a picturesque farming village
ESE of Cusco to Tipn, an archaeological complex
that is interesting for its palace and for its
speculated importance for experimental
agriculture in pre-Columbian times.
Itinerary
Day 1
At 9:00 AM we travel to Huasao, some forty
minutes ESE of Cusco. There we begin the
horseback riding, climbing the hills to the NNE
of the road to the summit of a small hill, and
then to the archaeological site of Tipn, seat
of an ancient capital, and dedicated to the
agricultural discovery. After a picnic at the
site we continue along the ridge and descend to
the town of Oropesa, where we meet our private
bus to return to Cusco, coming home at 4:00 in
the afternoon.
